Team Penning is a western equestrian sport that evolved from the common ranch work of separating cattle into pens for branding, doctoring, or transport.

The Kamloops Agri Centre is home to a variety of agricultural and rodeo events including barrel racing, breakaway roping, team roping, team penning, cattle sorting, horse racing and spring training.
